The following message is from my friend Mernice, who knew Nola and knows what sadness her passing means. Mernice and her mom live in South Shore Lake Tahoe. While watching the lovely scene of snow that had fallen yesterday and the sun peeking out, my Mom, said, "look there is a bird with a red stomach in the bird feeder. We only see blue jays, doves, robins, seagulls and ducks on our front yard over looking Lake Tahoe at this time of year. What a lovely surprise then to see this red bird picture from Nola's memorial website. Who knows? I know you lost a wonderful friend, Carol.
