Nola & David participated in a StoryCorp interview (actually, it is more a dialogue between them) in San Francisco on November 21, 2010. David began the interview by sharing memories of his paternal grandmother, Jessie Belle Haggerty. During the second half of the interview, Nola spoke about her cancer diagnosis, her philosophy of life, and the prospect of death.
