Dave, I’ve known you and Nola for fifty years, so it’s hard to accept the reality that she died. As difficult as that must be for you, you had the time to let go gradually and lovingly. I hope that remains a consolation. I know you will be busy for a while putting Nola’s things in order, but when you feel like getting out, you are always welcome here. I do not know how to avoid the clichés about being sorry for your loss except to say Nola’s death has affected me.
