Our hearts go out to you at this sad and difficult time. We could not be at the service as we were out of town. Nola was almost the first person we met when we moved to Davis in 1977. As Katie and Stephanie started kindergarten at North Davis immediately after our arrival, there were many times when we traded kids. Nola would keep both Stephanie and Benjee whenever I had to take my broken back to Stanford Hospital. It was an invaluable help for which I have been so grateful. When we started thinking about Hospice, Nola was the one who gave me the folder and information. Fortunately, we did not need it for a long time. The way I most like to remember Nola is in her tap shoes, practicing with Helen in Helen’s garage on several occasions when I happened to walk by. Nola leaves a great vacuum in the community for many people, but I’m certain each of us has many wonderful memories that will live on.
