Dear Friend. yesterday was a wonderful tribute to you. The priest was perfect and it was as if he had always known you. The reception was so you. All your friends were there. David and the kids did such a perfect job making it a very warm personal Nola event. I learned things about you I'd never heard before. You touched everyone in a way that was so special to them. I felt like you were magical in how you always knew just the right thing to say or do to make someone feel special. That special quality is a true gift. I think you must be an "old soul" since you achieved such perfection here on earth. Different people stood up and shared their favorite memory of you. I shared the time we were trying to save money and bought cat food for tuna. Some people thought I made that story up. I just remember how you and I laughed when we saw an eye ball and knew it truly was cat food. David said he would have eaten it and I am sure he would have. Isn't that why we fed it to the cat instead??? hahaha My heart is full of tears and laughter at the same time. Thank you for being the best friend I ever had.
