I always enjoyed Nola's laugh and her energy. I expected her to beat this nasty cancer because she had such a strong, positive spirit. I have been dancing the dance with cancer myself this past year. I am currently cancer free and winning. As I look at her pictures with all the colorful wigs I realize I missed my opportunity to have more fun with my bald chemo head. My tears are falling but at the same time I am smiling at my memories of Nola. Bigger than life and so colorful. She had such a big heart, I wonder how it fit inside her body. I am thankful to have known her. Sending healing hugs your way.
