June 13 Dear Mr. Haggerty, Ever since I saw you yesterday, I have been thinking of you and Nola. So I thought I would write to you and just let you know I was thinking of you. I cannot think of any wise or wonderful words which may ease your pain, but I do want you to know how wonderful I thought Nola was, cheerful and smiling while fully knowing her prognosis. And you, always with her, wearing matching shirts, smiling and planning how best to celebrate your togetherness. I miss her.
